The unveiling of the Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2026 shortlists continues with Sports Tech—one of the industry’s most innovative and rapidly evolving categories.
These companies are transforming how sport is played, analysed, managed, commercialised and experienced. Their technologies support areas ranging from performance analysis, officiating and athlete tracking to data intelligence, video production, betting, scouting and fan engagement.

The shortlist demonstrates the wide range of technologies now supporting the sports industry.
Data and intelligence specialists are particularly prominent, with companies such as Sportradar, Stats Perform / Opta, Genius Sports and Sportlogiq providing information and analytical solutions across competitions, teams, media organisations and betting operators.
Performance analysis and athlete-tracking technology also feature strongly through Catapult Sports, Hawk-Eye Innovations, Kinexon, STATSports and TrackMan. Hudl / Wyscout, InStat and Synergy Sports represent the importance of video, scouting and coaching platforms to modern sporting organisations.
The list also includes companies operating in digital media and fan engagement, such as OneFootball and WSC Sports, alongside major betting and fantasy sports brands DraftKings and FanDuel. Fanatics and PlayMetrics further illustrate how technology is influencing sports commerce and organisational management.
What Has Changed Since 2025?
The Sports Tech shortlist has undergone one of the most substantial changes of any category in 2026.
Ten organisations retain their places from the 2025 Top 20: Catapult Sports, DraftKings, Fanatics, Genius Sports, Hawk-Eye Innovations, OneFootball, Sportradar, Stats Perform / Opta, Strava and WSC Sports.
They are joined by ten additions: Deltatre, FanDuel, Hudl / Wyscout, InStat, Kinexon, PlayMetrics, Sportlogiq, STATSports, Synergy Sports and TrackMan.
These companies replace Dream11, Fitbit, Freeletics, Peloton, Socios.com / Chiliz, Sorare, Sportway, Whoop, Wiz-Team and Zwift.
The changes mark a notable shift in the composition of the shortlist. While the 2025 selection included several consumer fitness and fan-engagement platforms, the 2026 Top 20 places greater emphasis on business-to-business technologies used directly by teams, leagues, federations, broadcasters and other professional sports organisations.
The final ranking will reveal which of these 20 organisations sports professionals consider the most attractive employer in the Sports Tech category.
About the Most Attractive Employers in Sport
The Most Attractive Employers in Sport survey, conducted annually by iWorkinSport, asks people working in—or aspiring to work in—the sports industry to identify the organisations they would most like to work for.
The 2026 survey gathered responses from 1,051 participants representing 58 nationalities, reflecting the global nature of the sports industry.
The shortlists recognise the organisations that received the highest number of votes within their respective categories. The names presented above are listed alphabetically and do not represent the final ranking.
The complete ranking will be unveiled during the Most Attractive Employers in Sport Awards ceremony on 16 October 2026.
The study provides valuable insights into employer branding in sport and helps organisations understand how they are perceived by the industry’s current and future workforce.
