iWorkinSport is pleased to announce that Grace Blue Europe, the specialist executive search firm, will deliver this year’s workshop, led by Sarah Skinner, Managing Partner.
Taking place on Friday, 16 October 2026, at the Apex City of Bath Hotel, the workshop forms part of the iWorkinSport Workshop & Awards Ceremony 2026, organised in collaboration with the University of Bath.
The session will bring together HR professionals, talent acquisition specialists and business leaders from the sports industry for an evening of knowledge exchange, peer learning and networking.
Leadership for what comes next
What should organisations look for in tomorrow’s leaders? And how can they prepare their people for the transformation that artificial intelligence is already bringing?
These questions will guide a workshop exploring future-facing leadership traits and organisational AI transformation through a people lens.
Drawing on Grace Blue Europe’s executive search experience and research into emerging leadership capabilities, Sarah will examine how organisations can assess talent beyond past achievements. Participants will consider the qualities leaders need to respond to changing business models, support their teams and prepare for future challenges.
The session will also explore the human and organisational factors that shape successful AI adoption, including leadership commitment, workplace culture and the readiness of people to work differently.
Knowledge exchange at its finest
Designed as an interactive workshop, the session will combine expert insights with small-group discussions and shared feedback. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with peers and consider how the ideas apply within their own organisations.
The workshop will focus on helping participants:
- Learn from experts and peers: Exchange perspectives with leaders facing similar talent and organisational challenges.
- Prepare for new leadership demands: Explore the capabilities needed to hire, develop and support future leaders.
- Put people at the centre of AI: Consider how people strategies can support meaningful organisational transformation.
João Frigerio, Founder and CEO of iWorkinSport, commented:
“Sarah brings a valuable perspective on the leadership capabilities organisations need for the future. We’re delighted to welcome Grace Blue Europe back to lead this year’s workshop and look forward to an engaging exchange of ideas among the participants. Learning from one another is a central part of the experience.”
The evening will begin with arrival and welcome drinks at 17:30, followed by the workshop from 18:00 to 19:30. Networking drinks will precede the dinner and The Most Attractive Employers in Sport Awards Ceremony, taking place from 20:00 to 22:00.
