The unveiling of the Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2026 shortlists continues with the Event Organisers category, featuring the tournaments, championships and major sporting events that industry professionals and aspiring professionals would most like to work for.
From global multisport spectacles and international football tournaments to Grand Slam tennis, rugby, basketball, golf, cycling and action sports, the shortlist reflects the enormous variety of career opportunities associated with delivering major sporting events.

The shortlist combines some of the world’s most established annual competitions with major international events whose organising teams are currently preparing for future editions.
Tennis is particularly well represented, with the ATP Finals and all four Grand Slam tournaments—Australian Open, Roland-Garros, US Open and Wimbledon—featuring among the Top 20.
Football also has a strong presence through AFCON 2027, Copa América 2028, UEFA EURO 2028 and the Women’s World Cup 2027. Meanwhile, the inclusion of both the LA 2028 Olympics and LA 2028 Paralympics highlights the appeal of working behind the scenes at the world’s largest multisport events.
The list is completed by prominent properties across basketball, rugby, golf, cycling, athletics, American football and action sports, illustrating the range of disciplines and markets represented within the category.
What Has Changed Since 2025?
The 2026 shortlist reflects the changing international sporting calendar, with attention naturally shifting towards the major events and tournament editions scheduled for the coming years.
Several established properties return from the 2025 shortlist, including the Australian Open, FIBA World Cup 2027, LA 2028, Roland-Garros, Rugby World Cup 2027, the Ryder Cup, Six Nations, the Super Bowl, Tour de France, US Open Tennis and Wimbledon.
They are joined by events including AFCON 2027, ATP Finals, Copa América 2028, Women’s EuroBasket 2027, Red Bull Signature Series, UEFA EURO 2028 and the Women’s World Cup 2027.
The final ranking will reveal which of these events and organising committees sports professionals consider the most attractive employer in the Event Organisers category.
About the Most Attractive Employers in Sport
The Most Attractive Employers in Sport survey, conducted annually by iWorkinSport, asks people working in—or aspiring to work in—the sports industry to identify the organisations they would most like to work for.
The 2026 survey gathered responses from 1,051 participants representing 58 nationalities, reflecting the global nature of the sports industry.
The shortlists recognise the organisations that received the highest number of votes within their respective categories. The names presented above are listed alphabetically and do not represent the final ranking.
The complete ranking will be unveiled during the Most Attractive Employers in Sport Awards ceremony on 16 October 2026.
