Top 10 Sports Governing Bodies - The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2022

A list of the Top 10 Most Attractive Sports Governing Bodies for those who already work or wish to work in sport has been revealed by iWorkinSport.

The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than a 1,600 people from all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?” 

At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”. This is the first time Sports Tech was included as a category in the survey.

In the category Sports Governing Bodies, the 10 most voted organisations were, in alphabetical order:

CONCACAF (Football, North and Central America)

CONMEBOL (Football, South America)

FIA (Motor Sports, Global)

FIBA (Basketball, Global)

FIFA (Football, Global)

IOC (Olympics, Global)

ITF (Tennis, Global)

The FA (Football, ENG)

UEFA (Football, Europe)

World Athletics (Athletics, Global)

The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2022 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on May 19th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne. The report will also feature insightful job market trends’ analysis and interviews.

The survey was conducted from 20 December 2021 to 15 March 2022 and had more than 1,600 respondents, from 111 countries, with 90% having at least a bachelor degree and 63% with postgraduate education, while 79% already work in sport. Detailed demographics data will be available in the report.
