Top 20 Event Organisers - The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2024

To wrap up the week we are announcing the Top 20 Event Organizers - the latest category announcement from the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers in Sport Survey 2024 results.

This year’s Top 20 Event Organisers include some of the most popular and well-known global events. The Olympics, arguably the world’s highest profile sports event, are well represented with Paris 2024, Milano-Cortina 2026 and LA 2028 all appearing on the list. Football has a heavy presence on the list with Copa America 2024, FIFA World Cup 2026 and UEFA Euro 2024. All four tennis grand slam tournaments - Australian Open, Roland Garros (French Open), the US Open and Wimbledon - made the list as repeats from last year. Cycling events, requiring precise logistical organisation across multiple cities, made the list two times with the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France. Please check out the complete list below.

The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than 1,600 people from 83 countries representing all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”

At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”.

The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2024 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on June 4th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne.
