Today we continue to announce the Top 20 results of the Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2024 with Sports Teams - USA.
With its broad international appeal, the NBA landed nine teams in the Top 20, including some of the most well known franchises in the world like the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks. The NFL landed three new teams in Top 20 for the 2024 survey - including back-to-back Superbowl Champions the Kansas City Chiefs. The MLS landed 5 teams, all of whom appeared on the list last year - a testament to the consistent popularity of soccer in the United States. Rounding out the Top 20 is one MLB team - one of the most well known names in sport - the New York Yankees.
The list is the result of a study conducted by iWorkinSport, which surveyed more than 1,600 people from 83 countries representing all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?”
At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”.
The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2024 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on June 4th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne.

The survey was conducted from 16 January to 17 March 2023 and counted 1,619 respondents, from 101 nationalities, living in 83 countries, with 84% having at least a bachelor degree and 52% with postgraduate education, while 87% already work in sport.
