Top 20 Sponsors - The Most Attractive Employers in Sport 2022

A list of the Top 20 Most Attractive Sponsors according to professionals who already work or wish to work in sport has been revealed by iWorkinSport.

The preferred companies fall into diverse sponsorship categories, such as automakers, soft drinks, beer, other beverages, airlines, video games, credit cards, watch makers, technology and banking.

The second edition of the study led by Switzerland-based company surveyed more than a 1,600 people from all continents, with the majority already working in sport, and asked them a simple question: “If you could choose to work anywhere in sport, where would that be?” 

At first, the respondents chose organisations divided into ten categories and, at the end, they indicated one single preferred choice, overall – the “Employer of their Dreams”. This is the first time Sports Tech was included as a category in the survey.

The final rankings of the iWorkinSport Most Attractive Employers 2022 will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum, in Lausanne, on May 19th, at a VIP dinner offered to recruiters and academic partners of the iWorkinSport Job Fair, which will take place the following day in Lausanne. The report will also feature insightful job market trends’ analysis and interviews.

The survey was conducted from 20 December 2021 to 15 March 2022 and had more than 1,600 respondents, from 111 countries, with 90% having at least a bachelor degree and 63% with postgraduate education, while 79% already work in sport. Detailed demographics data will be available in the report.
