Job Description
Our team is growing! Reporting to the EMEA Marketing leadership and working closely with Global and Local Sportstyle teams, our future EMEA Sportstyle Marketing & Influence Lead will play a key role in driving Salomon’s Sportstyle expansion across the region.
Your mission is to translate global Sportstyle strategy into locally impactful activations, strengthen our influence ecosystem, and elevate brand desirability across priority EMEA cities. You will act as the bridge between global direction, cultural communities, creators, agencies, and market teams.
Main Responsibilities
Lead EMEA Sportstyle Consumer Insights & Marketing Activations
- Be the regional expert on the EMEA Sportstyle consumer, ensuring all marketing is credible, innovative, and audience relevant.
- Drive the collection, interpretation, and application of consumer insights to inform Sportstyle strategy and regional decision making.
- Translate global direction into locally resonant consumer centric ideas across all touchpoints.
- Gather ground level insights and feed them back to Regional and Global teams to shape long term brand strategy.
Own the Sportstyle Influence Strategy & Implementation
- Cascade and localize global influencer strategies, adapting calendars, seeding plans, and priorities to regional cultural and market needs.
- Manage the regional influencer ecosystem, nurturing relationships, overseeing execution quality, and consolidating KPIs for global reporting.
- Lead the identification, management, and activation of influencers, including events and collaborations with marketing teams.
- Shape and own EMEA influencer marketing strategy alongside country experts, including talent selection, negotiation, and ambassadorship support.
- Develop and govern the Regional Influence Playbook to ensure aligned influence, PR, and social execution across markets.
Serve as Point of Contact for EMEA Sportstyle Activations
- Act as the central coordination hub for Sportstyle activations, supporting and energizing local markets and their energy marketing teams.
- Support regional marketing activation across channels by integrating selected talents into key campaigns.
- Represent and align the EMEA Sportstyle perspective across Global, Regional, and local teams.
- Provide ongoing direction to markets to ensure alignment with seasonal priorities and master plans.
Lead Seasonal Planning & Cross Functional Drumbeat
- Create innovative seasonal plans that translate global strategies into EMEA relevant activations, partnerships, and campaigns.
- Partner with the Key Account Lead to build seasonal narratives, priorities, and activation calendars.
- Support brand launches and collaborations through planning, product seeding, talent targeting, and media amplification.
Lead Regional Sportstyle Marketing
- Represent the Sportstyle brand externally within the industry.
- Contribute to and manage the regional category budget.
- Track, measure, and report on regional activations and performance.
- Select and manage European agencies to ensure best in class execution.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, culture marketing, influence, or PR.
- Strong experience managing multi‑market campaigns (preferably EMEA).
- Proven background in lifestyle, streetwear, sportstyle, fashion or entertainment sectors.
- Strong cultural awareness, deep understanding of Gen Z and sneaker culture.
- Established industry network among creators, agencies, and cultural partners.
Education
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Languages
- English fluency required.
- French is an advantage.
IT Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media, influence tools.
