A key role within our Motorsport team taking on responsibility for developing and implementing events, hospitality programmes and brand experiences, at and away from track, with support from account team members.

OVERVIEW:

As a result of growth to a key client’s global partnership portfolio, Wasserman is looking for a motivated Senior Account Exec to join the Brands team. This position is responsible for providing support to account team members with partnership events and hospitality planning, aligned to client requirements in terms of audience/guest profile, objectives, budget parameters, and performance KPIs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Assists in the day-to-day management of client, rightsholder and supplier relationships

  • Supports development and delivery of required events and activations.

  • Deliver best in class client events and activations, pulling through core client narrative to all touchpoints.

  • Contribute to brainstorming for race activation campaigns

  • Continually seek cost saving measures and opportunities

  • Support collation and management of Motorsport events documents, trackers, templates and planning materials

  • Proactively identify and share relevant partner news

  • Relationship management with key events suppliers in F1 and motorsport network

  • Prepare clear and concise internal and external presentations, reporting and client servicing documents

  • Assistance with financial elements of accounts – budgeting, PO’s, supplier invoicing/cost management and reporting to account leads

  • Maintains positive relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and colleagues on a daily basis

  • Manage junior team members, ensuring that tasks are being completed correctly, efficiently and timely

  • Effective management of regular project and status meetings with clients (and external agencies where relevant)

  • Ability to support business development initiatives and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges while managing client work first and foremost.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (nice to have)

  • At least 1yr work experience – sports agency experience is preferred

  • Motorsport (F1) experience is preferred

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel.

  • The ability to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

  • Strong operations and logistics management skills

  • Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team.

  • Efficient communicator, with internal as well as client stakeholders, who is able to drive decisions.

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

  • Ability to think creatively in a team environment.

  • Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances. Ability to stay poised and professional when working with well-known talent.

  • Ability to travel for partner programs or activations as required.
