Main goal
The EURO Cluster Venue Operations Coordinator assists the Venue Operations Central Planning team in preparing the nine competition venues for UEFA EURO 2028, supporting the Senior Venue Operations Manager in planning and coordinating venue visits, tracking project progress, overseeing venue-related planning and managing relevant stakeholders to ensure safe and high-quality services for all target groups attending the tournament.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the preparations of the nine EURO 2028 venues together with the Senior Venue Operations Managers
- Supporting relations and communication with stadium operators
- Assisting the Senior Venue Operations Managers in ensuring fulfilment of the UEFA EURO 2028 Tournament Requirements and implementation of the EURO overlay and space allocation
- Performing various administrative tasks, preparing presentations, reports, workshops and meetings, and taking the minutes of meetings
- Helping the Senior Venue Operations Managers with budget management and consolidation
- Coordinating the preparation and execution of on-site working visits, including post-visit documentation and tracking of action points
- Assisting in the preparation of and monitoring progress in relation to set-up and dismantling plans for the nine EURO 2028 venues
- Monitoring and coordinating other venue-related topics
- Supporting the training of on-site venue management teams, including the modules delivered to Senior Venue Managers
- Supporting venue management or venue operations projects more broadly, for example by preparing pitch maps, following up on clean-site implementation and developing and maintaining a comprehensive filing system
- Assisting in the production and consolidation of standard operating procedures
- Supporting the on-site venue management teams during the implementation and tournament delivery phases as required (please note, this role is not venue-based and does not guarantee a role on-site on matchdays)
- Supporting the tournament debriefing and reviewing post-tournament damage reports
Requirements
Experience:
- 1-3 years in the events industry
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or similar
