Job Description
The Olympic Channel is looking for a Product Manager to support the team working on the evolution of the official digital platforms of the IOC and Olympic Games, offering sports fans unique content from one of the world’s most respected sports brands. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to expand their digital experience. It offers a unique chance to interact with numerous stakeholders and work on the entire product cycle firsthand, providing support from the creative stage of new features and product ideations through to delivery. This role will be accountable (among other things) for Identity & Discoverability.
Duties & Responsibilities
Working closely with other Product Managers to develop and maintain the roadmap of digital experiences. The scope of Identity & Discoverability includes user acquisition flows, management, leveraging user data to enhance experience and increase engagement
Brainstorm, design and validate with stakeholders and designers for new features horizontally across the platforms within Identity & Discoverability experiences.
Provide support as required to the team to complete the functional & business objectives outlined in the master product roadmap for Olympics.com.
Ensure user research, benchmarks, and data are used to help build strong user-centric requirements within the features.
Provide support in creating QA test plans and assist with UAT to ensure quality.
Interact and liaise with colleagues in Editorial, Marketing, PR, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Data, Technical Delivery, as well as external partners. Technical understanding of systems and data flows is an essential part of this role
Work with the project- and development teams to monitor the status of development and deliverables.
Validate requirements with stakeholders for the adaptations or adjustments and new features.
Skills, Requirements & Qualifications
4+ years of proven Digital Product Management experience, ideally with a news, digital media or sports background, as well as web-based applications experience.
Suitable / relevant tertiary qualifications in relation to Product Management
Experience with Confluence and Jira and an understanding of Figma. Other related software packages can be considered.
Experience and understanding of CIAM systems and data flows between multiple systems is a plus.
Fluent in technical and abstract concepts and experience with complex systems is preferred.
Experience in Digital Product transformation, focusing on a user-centric approach and value generation.
Conceptual thinking, creativity, analysis, and execution.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment with firm deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with the rest of the product team to ensure consistency across all channels.
CMS and AB testing experience is a plus.
