Main goal

The Venue Operations Coordinator supports the planning and execution of UEFA EURO 2028, working across all venue-related areas to ensure operational readiness, while providing a coordinating function for the UEFA Nations League finals, overseeing the preparation and implementation of key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

UEFA EURO 2028

  • Providing comprehensive management support to the Head of Venue Operations
  • Assisting in the execution of key venue operations projects, including central planning, event readiness, access and accreditation
  • Coordinating the preparation and execution of on-site working visits, including post-visit documentation and tracking of action points
  • Supporting the organisation of various workshops and internal meetings, such as stadium operator workshops and Venue Project Group meetings
  • Monitoring and coordinating the progress of venue-related topics, ensuring alignment with project milestones
  • Organising project meetings and taking and distributing the minutes
  • Leading and managing small projects as assigned
  • Assisting in the unit’s procurement processes

UEFA Nations League finals (men’s and women’s)

  • Supporting the Project Leader in the successful implementation and delivery of the finals
  • Preparing briefing documents and presentations for management and the project team
  • Contributing to strategic and conceptual documentation (e.g. project plans, concepts and briefings) to ensure structured project management
  • Liaising with the local organising structure (LOS) to establish effective, goal-oriented collaboration
  • Coordinating the preparation and execution of on-site working visits, including post-visit documentation and tracking of project tasks

Requirements

Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in venue or event management
  • Experience in project management at a major sport event

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in sports management, event management or in any relevant field

Languages:

  • English / Proficient
  • French is an asset

Other requirements:

  • Computer-literate : MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written
