Sales Manager, Rights

The Candidate will work closely alongside the team’s senior executive to support all aspects of the commercial and business development work,
including strategic advisory and consulting projects, rights sales negotiations and media deal processes for current and future clients.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

The ideal candidate is passionate about the media, sports, and entertainment space and eager to learn the ropes of a fast-paced industry. This person will be working within a global commercial team and able to effectively manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously.

▪ Responsible for maximizing revenues through sales of IMG Media sports and programming catalogue across the region of Italy, Israel, Greece, Cyprus and Malta.

▪ Responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities to grow IMG Media’s business

▪ Support IMG Media sales team with contracting processes, providing accurate projections, producing sales reports, tracking deals into CRMs and using various sales tools.

▪ Manage customer relationships and provide daily account management to existing customers.

▪ Help building relationships with prospects and new media outlets.

▪ Assist the sales team with the preparation of sales support materials and presentations.

▪ Assist with developing the strategy and structuring negotiations with customers.

▪ Track performances in CRM and develop plans to achieve and exceed budget.

▪ Collate broadcast reports and ratings information from customers.

▪ Help to coordinates all sales activities and ensure that all contractual deliverables are met.

▪ Manage research requests on behalf of top selected clients.

▪ Other duties that are within the scope of the role may be required.

Knowledge and Experience:

▪ Strong knowledge of the sports media industry and connections at high level with key clients

▪ Deep understanding of the media rights landscape and digital market across the five territories

▪ Previous working experience within a broadcaster, agency, federation or governing body

▪ Ability to advise clients on strategy, valuation, negotiation and distribution of media rights domestically and/or internationally across all media platforms and new technology including traditional television, digital media, mobile, and OTT

▪ Bachelor or master’s degree, pre or post MBA
