This position provides comprehensive support, resources, and education to members throughout their career and progression across PGA TOUR Pathways. Additionally, this position establishes and maintains strong connectivity, trust, communication, and authentically has a deep understanding of player’s needs, goals and challenges at various stages of their career and within the pathways ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the golf industry, with experience in tournament administration preferred; 7+ years of experience in Sports Communications, Sports Management, or related areas

  • Existing relationships with golf industry (players, agents, manufacturers)

  • Must maintain high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive player information and have ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a professional manner

  • Strong leader and proven ability to build relationships with various groups of constituents

  • Possesses an intimate knowledge of how college golf and professional golf intersect

  • Effective communicator, thought leader, and innovator

  • Strong writing and proofreading skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Primary relationship manager and liaison across Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Americas membership

  • Conduit to players gathering feedback and disseminating TOUR policy and information

  • Manage Player Relations team across Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Americas to further player relationships and engagement as they transition across PGA TOUR Pathways

  • Strategically focused on ways to best support our membership at various stages of their careers

  • Oversight of weekly Player Report content

  • Manage annual PAC election process

  • Manage annual New Member Orientation

  • Coordinate PAC and Player meeting topics, agendas and presentations for discussion

  • Foster and expand a strong network of contacts in the industry to maximize knowledge of players

  • Keep abreast of evolving global landscape and all pathways available to players

  • Be aware of other sports leagues and team practices around Player Relations/Services

  • Work in collaboration with other PGA TOUR Player Relations teams to support transition to the PGA TOUR

  • Interact with TOUR staff to address membership needs and desires

  • Special projects or others duties as assigned
