The Venue Management Coordinator is a member of the Venue Management team working on the preparation of venues, coordinating and supervising various venue management subprojects. Working closely with the cluster managers, the incumbent is responsible for following up on action points, managing the reporting tools and monitoring the progress in consultation with the Cluster Venue Manager. They will take the lead on subprojects and will represent the Venue Managers during their absence.

Key responsibilities:

* Coordinating the organisation of three working visits, in accordance with the agreed concept
* Planning, participation and agenda
* Handling pre-visit cluster meeting invitations
* Leading post-visit cluster debriefs
* Tracking projects
* Following up and ensuring timelines are complied with for all steps
* Planning, coordinating and running specific projects, such as staff bistro, venue logistics, delivery procedure, cleaning requirements, etc. at all venues
* Helping the Venue Manager to run venue management projects and processes at the four venues in their cluster
* Taking charge of creating and updating the activity plan, in cooperation with the VMGT Assistant
* Following up on project requirements and needs at the venue and ensuring information is communicated appropriately and in good time
* Acting as a key information resource for all stakeholders and handling questions and information requests at the venues
* Coordinating the tournament hub concept with Project Coordination and ensuring that VMGT is staffed according to requirements
* Supporting the team, proposing and organising social events

The above list is not exhaustive and, depending on specific requirements, additional responsibilities may be assigned. The Venue Management Coordinator must therefore be flexible with regard to their duties and be prepared to take the lead, as instructed by the Senior Venue Manager or the Venue Cluster Manager.


Profile:

Experience required:
- from 1 to 3 years / in a similar role in an international and multicultural environment
- from 1 to 3 years / in event operations for major sports or international events

Education:
- Bachelor's in business administration or sports management

Languages:
- English / Proficient
- French / Proficient
- German / Advanced
