Sportradar’s business unit (Tribe) Vaix, a former startup founded in 2016, is on a mission to be iGaming’s most comprehensive and effective AI engine. As industry-first, Vaix is supporting operators utilize Deep Learning for their customers & operations in the use cases where it matters most: Acquisition & Marketing, Personalization and NLP/Chat. We were the first to b build Deep Learning-powered Sports Recommendations, a personalized Netflix lobby for online Casinos and personalized a Tinder app for punters.

Reporting to the Head of Programme Management for the Managed Business Solutions (MBS) vertical, this role is responsible for the project management for all product delivery initiatives in Vaix.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for implementing best programme and delivery management practice to enable the successful delivery of measurable business outcomes in an incremental manner. Through this, the successful candidate will lead in executing improvements in business agility and will influence and evangelise the continuous improvement mindset and agile at scale.

A key focus will be ensuring the coordination of projects across Vaix and other teams (Tribes) and functional groups, whilst keeping key stakeholders fully up to date on status (including facilitating impediment resolution and managing risks).


THE OPPORTUNITY:


  • Central project / programme management contact for Vaix, both driving selected projects / programmes, or supporting other programme resources to do their job better.
  • Support the Vaix Pre-sales, Product and Engineering teams to process projects / programmes quickly within Sportradar processes and utilizing Sportradar resources where needed, ultimately supporting Vaix to get stuff done, fast.
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel timelines and collaborate in a global and remote environment across continents and time zones.
  • Learn, and adopt for Vaix, Sportradar tools and processes enabling Vaix work to function more efficiently and faster.
  • Help shape and evolve the processes and principles to improve the consistency and effectiveness of project / programme delivery execution, improving predictability, alignment and visibility.
  • Ensure cross-team/tribe dependencies are managed effectively.
  • Ensure transparent and regular reporting / interactions with the key stakeholders to ensure delivery status is clearly understood and timely decisions can be taken.


YOUR PROFILE:


Desired Professional Background and Personal Attributes


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, product ownership or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in project management or leading a small team is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think creatively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
