Account Manager, Olympics & Paralympics

This is a fixed-term contract position that will go through October 2024. 



  • In this role, you’ll work with at least one major global brand to execute their Official Supporter level sponsorship of the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games. You’ll be joining a hardworking, collaborative team based in both France and the United States whose objective is to drive clients to develop and execute unforgettable and innovative Olympic and Paralympic (OLYPARA) campaigns.
  • Our team’s focus is on helping our clients to maximize the impact of their Paris 2024 partnership within Paris and throughout France. We work across numerous internal and external stakeholders including brand marketers, employee resource groups, athlete partners & agents and the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee to leverage assets and bring campaigns to life.

  • Become an expert in OLYPARA marketing and the Paris 2024 Games to best direct our clients, including some of the world’s most well-known brands, on how to successfully activate their Olympic and Paralympic programs
  • Provide leadership, expertise, and demonstrate influence with clients and partners with a focus on OLYPARA Marketing commercial rights expertise, applying in support for the creation of best-in-class campaigns
  • Act as a key connector between French and Global marketing teams
  • Lead the management and execution of Olympic & Paralympic athlete partnerships including:

-Contractual asset tracking

-Athlete ambassador/agent communications and approvals

-Athlete ambassador service day coordination, management, and execution

  • Execute rights activation and internal & external creative approval processes
-Support the management of the different production, content & social partners in briefing, production, and execution phases
  • Support the planning and execution of OLYPARA related events including thought leadership, networking and hospitality programs leading up to and during the Paris 2024 Games
  • Regular internal and client communications (1v1’s, status updates, etc.)


  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or property consulting
  • Previous experience in the Olympic and Paralympic Movement is highly preferred but not required, especially other sports property experience exists
  • Experience with an agency is a plus
  • Build, convey, and implement marketing strategies
  • Excellence in communicating with and presenting to senior-level clients, in addition to business writing, particularly in idea communication and strategic influence (i.e., point of view)
  • Confidently manage high-profile properties, grow relationships, and secure/exercise assets or opportunities on behalf of client managerial instincts
  • Strong sense for intuition, especially ability to interpret complex situations, predict outcomes, and apply foresight when making decisions that impact multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to meet and work effectively with others
  • Strong work ethic – collaborative team player who is proactive and driven, works well independently and on a team and a willingness to assist on other programs as needed or requested
  • Passionate and motivated with a positive attitude – solutions oriented
  • Previous experience in the Olympic and Paralympic Movement is highly preferred but not required, especially other sports property experience exists
  • Fluency in French and English required
  • Effective time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to follow through
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Negotiation skills are a plus but not required


  • Hybrid WFH + in-office structure: Must be centrally located in the Paris metropolitan area and be willing and able to work from GMR’s Experience Hub at the Auditoire office and/or client’s office in center city 2 days / week (repetitive)
  • Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion
