About the job

As head of Mammut's corporate communication team, you will help to maintain, orchestrate and sustainably develop the company's reputation by means of excellent, consistent, internal and external communication. With a passion for people, communication and our mountains, we connect the needs of outdoor enthusiasts with Mammut's products, services and communities.


Do what you love:

  • You have overall responsibility and team leadership in the area of public relations and corporate communications
  • You provide strategic support in the communication and positioning of the CEO and other executive board members
  • You will assume global management of media work including business press, B2B, special interest "outdoor sports" and lifestyle media
  • You lead a close internal cooperation and consulting in B2C communication
  • You are responsible for the conception, creation, planning and implementation of integrated communication measures and corporate storytelling
  • You are responsible for crisis management and issue monitoring
  • You are spokesman for the Mammut Sports Group and ensure the continuous expansion of the media network
  • You run the PR agency for the EMEA region and support and manage other markets


Show me what you've got:  

  • You have a university or technical college degree in the field of communication or journalism
  • You have several years of professional experience in corporate communications, in PR/public relations and/or in an agency
  • You have excellent written and oral skills, structured thinking and writing, security in different types of texts, including digital content
  • You have proven leadership skills
  • You have experience in contact with international media and special interest magazines in the outdoor and sports sector
  • You are an established personality, communicative, a team player, self-confident and resilient, with initiative, commitment and a thirst for knowledge
  • You are a real organizational and coordination talent
  • You have strong teamwork and cooperation skills, high motivation, quick comprehension and the ability to learn
  • You enjoy writing, contact with the media and numerous internal and external contacts
  • You can express yourself excellently in German and English (oral and written)
  • You are IT-savvy and have valuable office skills
  • Your enthusiasm for mountain sports, people and nature is enormous
