III. Position Summary:

The Senior Content Creative will play an important role in the 160/90 team, creating social-led content ideas on one of our largest clients, working across their incredible Global Partnerships portfolio.

The candidate will be working on an international business that operates in multiple markets that has partnership interests across many sports, currently most active in Golf, but also branching out into Formula 1, Cricket and other sporting touchpoints.

The senior content creative will form part of the dedicated client team, reporting into the Creative Director (CD). They will sit across an integrated client team that includes Creative, Strategy and PR & Comms that spans 160over90’s London and Dubai offices.

This role is for a fresh, creative social-first thinker, able to create reactive and proactive social/earned content ideas that drives the brand forward creatively. While the category is “Content”, this exciting role will also allow the candidate to think about user experiences in the physical and digital world.


Note: this is not a role for a campaign creative to come up with “campaigns” or “campaign lines”.

It is important to be able to demonstrate content-led ideas thinking across digital, social, editorial, and filmic channels.


IV. Essential Functions:

  • Be a social-first creative content lead and generate category redefining ideas.
  • Have strong copy skills, be able to write up the ideas well, and write any production copy needed e.g. film scripts, TVC voice-overs, social posts, digital/print ads etc.
  • Be self-sufficient to come up with pro-active ideas working on an open brief, as well as working on reactive specific briefs.
  • Work with other creative suppliers and producers such as animators, video editors etc to help deliver a design project to completion.
  • To respond quickly to business and client needs (e.g. short timescale projects, last-minute requests and last-minute changes).
  • Communicate with respective teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate, be a problem solver and contribute to the wider team creativity through sharing inspiration and contributing to creative ideation sessions.
  • Carry out any other duties that are within the scope and purpose of the job.

V. Interactions:

The candidate will be primarily work on one client, our agencies most important. She/he will get support and direction from, and will report into, the Creative Director on a daily basis. The Senior Content Creative will also be part of the wider creative team that is based in London but has contacts to our International and US offices. They will be supported by internal and external designers, art directors, animators and editors.


VI. Qualifications and Experience 

  • Relevant years of experience working as a Senior Social Content Creative - with a background in either Content / Editorial / PR / Idea-led thinking (non-campaign).
  • Strong understanding of social, content, culture and earned media.
  • Excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of sports culture.

  • Must be able to articulate and build out ideas well, and then present them to client.

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding and interest in sports and sporting culture.
