Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Head of Sponsorships to lead and execute all sponsorship initiatives across our Spartan Race events in. You will drive strategy, pitch to brands, close deals, and manage all post-sale delivery and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong commercial mindset, and is confident operating independently from lead generation to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sponsorship opportunities across Spartan Race events and
brand touchpoints
  • Create compelling sponsorship decks and tailored proposals for potential partners
  • Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing
  • Manage relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring contract fulfillment and activation excellence
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and content teams to integrate sponsors authentically into the Spartan experience
  • Deliver regular reporting and ROI analysis to partners and internal stakeholders
  • Act as the key point of contact for all sponsorship-related queries pre-, during, and post-event
  • Attend Spartan Race events to oversee and support sponsor activations on the ground
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity in the sports and events sponsorship landscape

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales or partnerships, preferably within sports, events, media, or lifestyle brands
  • Strong network of brand and agency contacts across relevant categories (FMCG, fitness, wellness, tech, automotive, etc.)
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and delivering sponsor ROI
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised and self-sufficient – capable of driving results independently
  • Passion for fitness, endurance sports, and the Spartan brand ethos is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to events as needed
