
Job Title: Marketing Manager – Rugby & Cricket

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to support the delivery of marketing activity across our rugby and cricket portfolio. Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, this role will play a key part in executing campaigns, supporting go-to-market planning, and driving commercial performance across a range of premium hospitality products.
The role is designed for a versatile marketer who can contribute across multiple disciplines, building experience in campaign delivery, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, and performance optimisation. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing activity aligns with revenue targets, audience needs, and brand positioning.
YOU’LL BE DOING
· Plan and deliver the marketing campaigns across all rugby and cricket products (currently including: Edgbaston, Allianz Stadium, and The Kia Oval), ensuring close alignment to revenue targets and commercial priorities
· Execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, paid media and social channels, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to a high standard
· Collaborate with our clients, and internal stakeholders across sales, operations and marketing to ensure alignment on revenue targets, marketing messaging, audience targeting and campaign delivery
· Lead the go-to-market planning for each fixture, and/or tournament. Ensuring that campaigns are data-led, and effectively positioned to target audiences to drive demand
· Support the development and optimisation of the digital marketing funnel, improving engagement, lead generation and conversion rates
· Lead the development of bespoke customer journeys, including acquisition, nurture and retention activity
· Track and analyse campaign performance using CRM and analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations to improve future activity
· Lead the reporting on marketing effectiveness, including campaign performance, cost efficiency and contribution to revenue targets
· Assist in forecasting campaign requirements, using historical performance and market trends to inform planning
· Contribute to website management across rugby and cricket events, ensuring content, messaging and imagery resonate with both B2B and B2C audiences
· Plan, brief and support content creation across multiple channels, maintaining consistency in tone of voice and premium brand positioning
· Continually refine customer personas and targeting approaches using data and insight
· Work closely with internal specialists (content, digital, performance) to deliver fully integrated marketing activity, with a strategy that targets each stage of the marketing funnel
· Build strong working relationships across the organisation to support cross-departmental collaboration and campaign success
· Ensure all marketing activity complies with data protection and consent regulations (including GDPR)
· Maintain forensic attention to detail across all outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality
YOU’LL HAVE
· 3–5 years’ marketing experience, ideally within events, sport, hospitality or a related sector
· Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign delivery across multiple platforms
· Experience supporting or executing integrated marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes
· Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements
· Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities
· Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
· Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and develop across different areas of marketing
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving commercial environment
· Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs
· Self-motivated team player with a collaborative mindset
· Experience working with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms and analytics tools (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, DotDigital, Google Analytics, Experian Mosaics) desirable
· Knowledge of CMS platforms and website content management beneficial
· A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional attendance at events, evenings and weekends
