Do you thrive on building strategic partnerships and unlocking new growth opportunities? As our National Key Account Manager Wholesale, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Red Bull’s Off Premise business in Japan.

This is a new role at Red Bull Japan, where you will build strong partnerships with key wholesalers and start working together on both the commercial and supply sides. On the commercial side, this includes introducing structured demand terms for the first time, such as improving reach and total distribution points (TDP), particularly among smaller customers.

On the supply side, the role will establish robust supply terms in Japan. By effectively executing both demand and supply initiatives, the role aims to increase reach, improve distribution, and generate cost savings, ultimately supporting the future Go‑to‑Market strategy for Red Bull Japan.

  • Strategic Account Development

    Build strong, long-term relationships with leading wholesalers and retail partners while creating new business opportunities and ways of working. Develop and execute key account plans in collaboration with partners and actively support negotiations in the field.

  • Commercial and Supply Excellence

    Negotiate and implement structured demand and supply terms for the first time in Japan to improve distribution reach, expand TDP, and enhance efficiency. Close gaps versus competitors, particularly across smaller customers, while ensuring robust and sustainable supply conditions.

  • Execution and Performance Management

    Execute and closely track plans against targets across both demand and supply initiatives. Deliver on key KPIs including sales volume, P&L, reach, TDP, and ROS. Ensure flawless promotional execution and maintain strong administrative discipline with accurate and timely reporting

  • Stakeholder Alignment

    Ensure clear communication and alignment across internal teams (Sales, Finance, Operations) and external partners. Provide regular executive updates, dashboards, and reports, while proactively managing risks and resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Change Leadership

    Lead transformation initiatives, introduce new systems and processes, and drive adoption across stakeholders. Align all initiatives with broader business objectives and contribute to the evolution of the Red Bull Japan Go-to-Market strategy.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry with exposure to sales, marketing, or insights
  • Strong experience in key account management and customer engagement with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to negotiate and deliver commercial results
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset with understanding of financials and market trends
  • Fluent Japanese and conversational level English
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to win
