Role Purpose
We’re currently recruiting a Marketing Communications Executive within our Digital and Growth team to deliver marketing communications that support the business objectives of our Retail, Player Development and Premium business lines. This will be a hands-on role involving campaign planning and building as well as closely working with commercial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with Retail, Premium and Player Development Marketing teams to plan and deliver multi-channel CRM campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention across our retail, premium and player development audiences.
- Building and executing segmented lifecycle journeys, using customer insight and behavioural data to deliver personalised communications that increase revenue, lead generation and customer lifetime value.
- Managing audience segmentation, data selection and campaign workflows within the CRM platform, ensuring best practice in targeting, testing, automation and deliverability.
- Monitoring campaign performance against KPIs including revenue, registrations, lead quality, retention and engagement, producing regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for continuous optimisation.

Qualifications / Training
- You will live and breathe CRM marketing and marketing automation and understand the importance and value of the fan data within the Club. You’re an expert when it comes to understanding the potential of marketing tools to deliver exceptional fan experiences.
- You have a strong analytical mind and make good use of the abundance of data that exists in this space to drive your decisions, but you also are able to step out of the data to look at experiences from the eye of the receiver, to ensure the obvious is not lost.
- The opportunity to own and build a relationship using best in class marketing technology with specific key audiences excites you.
- You are well-organised, logical and efficient with good time management skills and are able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, without sacrificing attention to detail.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Marketing Communications and/or CRM, specifically with email and mobile app marketing.
- An understanding of how to use marketing automation, segmentation and lifecycle marketing to create experiences that drive customer engagement.
- Experience in a D2C start-up or scale-up e-commerce, subscription, or hyper growth business.
- Preferably experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar MAP/ESP/CRM.
- Comfortable working in reporting tools and creating campaign reports with the ability to measure against set objectives and KPI's and produce reports based on findings. The ability to measure against set objectives and KPI's and produce reports based on findings.
