The International Olympic Committee is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement.

About the role:
As the Media Rights Trainee you will be supporting and learning from the Media Rights unit.
Your responsibilities:
The Media Rights unit (MR) is responsible for the sales and exploitation of the broadcast media rights for Olympic Games, the Youth Olympic Games and the Olympic Qualifiers Series. As part of the MR unit, the Media Rights Trainee will:
- Assist the Media Rights team on the preparation for sales processes, such as market-sensing, tender documentation and financial projections.
- Compile intelligence and information for the targeted territories on the media landscapes, potential broadcasters as well as new trends and opportunities in the region.
- Prepare presentations for Sales meetings with potential Media Rights Holders
- Assist with the account management of Olympic Games Media Rights Holders and identify opportunities to leverage the partnership and further commercialisation to enhance upcoming media rights sales.
- Assist in administrative tasks including contracts overview, SharePoint management and weekly meetings.
- Contribute to internal and external audience and other reporting activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- University or business school (or related field) student or graduate.
- English fluency both spoken and written; additional language an asset.
- Interest to work in a commercial environment.
- Understanding or work experience in the sports media industry or sport’s governing body.
- Knowledge and affinity with media landscape an asset.
- Able to compile data and feature key information in presentable formats.
- Excellent command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI and other corporate tools.
