iWorkinSport partners with Liga Portugal to help Portuguese clubs recruit talent at the Thinking Football Summit

iWorkinSport, the global hub for recruitment, career growth and education in sport, has partnered with the Liga Portugal, the Portuguese Professional Football League, to replicate, in a compact scale, the services offered at the acclaimed iWorkinSport Job Fair at the Thinking Football Summit, which will take place between November 18th to 20th, 2022, in the city of Porto.

As per the agreement, iWorkinSport will help the Portuguese professional football clubs in the first and second divisions – as well as other companies exhibiting at the event - to scout and recruit attendees of the event interested in working for those organisations.

How it will work
A selection of clubs (Portuguese and international), as well as other sports companies exhibiting at Thinking Football Summit will post job offers which will be available only for attendees of the event. Attendees will be able to apply for job interviews at the Thinking Football Summit. iWorkinSport will coordinate the whole recruitment process.

Although only a selection of applicants will eventually have their job interviews at the event, all attendees will be able to attend a panel hosted by iWorkinSport which will discuss new trends in sports management careers, and will give invaluable tips and advice to all striving to accelerate their sports career.

iWorkinSport founder and CEO, Joao Frigerio, commented: “It’s an honour to partner with Liga Portugal by sharing our expertise in the field of sports career development, as well as event management, to help sports companies to find the right candidates and allow candidates to achieve their dreams of working in football”.

Rui Caeiro, Executive Director of Liga Portugal, congratulates the establishment of this partnership: "This is another important step in the development of Professional Football, taking advantage of the presence and visibility of such an important event as the Thinking Football. It is important for Liga Portugal to be associated with events of this magnitude and, even more, to have companies like iWorkinSport by our side, which will certainly help in the development and professionalisation of Professional Football and Sports Societies. Another step was taken with the certainty that we will have candidates who will add even more value to the professional competitions and their sports departments."
